Starbucks' New St. Paddy's Day Frapp Has An Unusual Flavor  

The most lovely time of the year is approaching for St. Patrick's Day celebrants. People celebrate with corned beef, Guinness, or shamrocks dipped in whiskey.

Others enjoy mint-flavored desserts like McDonald's Shamrock Shake or Dunkin's Lucky Mint Donut. According to Mashed, Starbucks' Luck of the Matcha Crème Frappuccino will debut on Saint Patrick's Day this year.

Starting March 12, participating retailers will sell a festive frozen drink with sweetened matcha, caramel syrup, and milk.

The delicious green mixture is topped with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and crunchy caramel sugar after being combined with ice.

Starbucks customers have created a "Shamrock Frappuccino" hidden menu by adding peppermint syrup and matcha to a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino.  

Although Starbucks' Saint Paddy's Day drink is mint-free, others are delighted about the variance. "Always down to try new matcha combos," one Instagram user remarked about Starbucks' latest drink.

Fans are already looking for ways to snag Starbucks' limited-edition Luck of the Matcha Crème Frappuccino after it's removed from the menu.
